Day 1:
Travelling from Bangalore to Srirangam
On the early sunrise the Journey began towards the southern part of India from Bangalore Our First stop for breakfast at the Famous Saravana Bhavna Hotel Located just about 4Kms from Krishnagiri, The food was quite expensive but was worth the money paid as the journey takes ahead January the best time of the year to visit places in Tamilnadu. Considering the humid and high temperature of the place , perfect time just after the Winter is almost over our very first destination awaited us Srirangam Located about 334Kms from Bangalore , The famous place of the Hindu God Ranganathasawamy, The temple site is on a
large island bounded by the Kaveri River One of the famous architecture of this place is the Sesharaya mandapam is the intricately carved hall , below are the images where the art work done depicting the warriors on the horse .
There is another Major Attraction at this place that is the 1000 pillar Hall. which is one of the famous tourist attraction at this place

After getting the blessing from the Lord Ranganathasawamy our Journey continued towards Rameshwaram , a very important note while heading towards Rameshwaram please try to finish your dinner before Pudukkottai or try to get some food packed since you will not find any good Vegetarian restaurants after this place.
We completed our Day one Journey to Rameshwaram at Night 11:30 PM a whooping 620Kms from Bangalore . The Journey was a pleasant once since the roads were as smooth as Butter.
Our Stay was booked at Hayat Palace , It was great experience here at this Hotel
To reach Rameshwaram we need to cross the Famous Pamban Bridge which is constructed over a the Sea , Unfortunately you cannot stop your vehicle here since the road is very narrow and it will obstruct the traffic. A suggestion is that you can park your vehicle before the bridge starts and you can have a spectacular view of the Ocean from here .
Day 2 : Rameshwaram and Danushkodi
Rameshwaram situated near to our Neighboring country Srilanka is one of the greatest places to visit during start if the year since the temperature at this place is really awesome and peaceful .
Rameshwaram one of the holy places to the Hindus is a place where you can watch the floating stones which is one of the most epic factors which is a part of our ancient history Ramayana. The same stones which were used to create a bridge to Lanka current (Srilanka) . If you are planning to watch these stones you need to sacrifice on your sleep and you have to be at the temple early morning by 4:00 AM .
There is a specific place inside the temple where you can get water from 21 wells poured on you. They will charge you a minimal fee of 50 INR .
The main God here is Lord Shiva , This is the place where Lord Rama (7th Avatar of Lord Vishnu) sat and prayed for the sins committed during the war against the demon King Ravana
After the Darshana we headed of towards Danushkodi the last motorable road of India, the View here while travelling is spectacular Sea on both the sides of the Road for about 5 Kms in stretch is a wonderful view , On the way there is a diversion which leads you to a small Temple
Below is the Video of the Diversion which is there while travelling towards Danushkodi
This is one specific spot to take some good pictures , there is no disturbance in this road and you will find the road so peaceful and the cool breeze .
After this we moved towards the last motorable road of India i.e., Danushkodi , this stretch is quiet long and the Waves with the cool breeze . This is one good location to see the Sunrise . You need to wake up very early and it will be really worth the trouble that you would take to travel this location.
The videos posted here are made one from Dashcam and another from Mobile
Some of the Pictures at the location
The Land Mass visible from edge of the Road
National Emblem at the End of the Road
While returning from Rameshwaram as we proceeded with our journey towards Madurai Meenakshi temple we found a memorial hall being build in the memory of our Late President Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam .
This location is still under construction and would take a minimum of about 6 months based on the update I received at the location from one of the guards.
Moving forward with the Journey , below is one of the picture taken on the Pamban bridge
I was not able to click a very good pictured since we were on the move and had to take a picture .
Heading towards Madurai Meenakshi temple we were unable to find any Vegetarian hotels on the way so we had to settle for a small road side hotel , But the food was really tasty and was worth the stop at this place
We reached our final visiting destination by 5:00 PM , Once we freshened up at the Hotel we proceeded further towards the temple , do keep in mind that you can not carry Mobile phone's inside any of the temple's in Tamilnadu you need to keep it at a separate counter , My suggestion would be to keep the mobile phones at the hotels just to be safe .
The Temple has 5 Gopuram's , North , South , East and West . There is also a Main Gopuram which is towards the East Entrance . Since I was not able to take a close up picture of the temple , below picture is one that was taken early morning at from the stay that we were in.
As you can see the 5 Gopurams of the Temple , The Temple itself is spread over a about 5 Acres of land based on the time we took to complete round of the whole temple .
Below are the pictures of the Stay that we were in Rameshwaram and Madurai .
The Place's were quite good as per the location
Our Complete Journey was for about 1300 Kms which we covered in 3 day's with no night travel , The best route to travel these destinations I've shared the Google Maps links so that you can use the same incase you plan a same destination travel .
